Cut to Length
At Imperial Steel we are not only a thin wall steel tube specialty mill, we also offer some unique opportunities to suit your needs. We run from 10' to 52' lengths on line and hold a +- .125 length tolerance. If you need lengths cut shorter than this we feed the long lengths into one of 4 systems for shorter cut-to-length pieces. Depending on quantities and diameters, we can saw cut on one of our two saws OR run the tubing through one of our customized automated cutter/deburring stations and produce parts down to 3" long cut and deburred. Once parts have been cut to length they can be bundled, palleted or boxed (depending on length) to meet shipping and receiving needs.
Manipulation of Tube
We also have some manipulation capabilities. If you need flaring, reducing, lipping or swedging we can help. We have designed specialized tooling to make parts from our tubing that can be incorporated directly into your production.
Custom Tubing Sizes
We take pride in small production runs and consider each one a unique opportunity. If you have a need for an uncommon size that fits within our size and gauge range, we can assess the project and provide you with an estimate. Some examples of this are: unwelded 3.250" x .105 wall, perforated 7 5/8"od x .120 wall.
